The Ayuuk Mule Bundle
Make it Empirical
Our core spirit Ayuuk is based on Pasilla Mixe, a special smoke-dried chili that grows in a cloud forest. For this serve, the chili's earthy, dark red fruit and smoky notes are balanced out with the zesty, bite of ginger.
One 750ml bottle of Ayuuk makes for 15 cocktails.
The Ayuuk & Fever-Tree Ginger Beer Bundle contains the following
1 x 750ml Bottle Empirical Ayuuk ($85.00)
1 x 4 pack 200ml Fever-Tree Ginger Beer ($7.99)
About the Cocktail
The Ayuuk Mule is Empirical's reinterpretation of the classic Moscow Mule.
By incorporating Ayuuk, we've added layers of complexity to this otherwise straightforward cocktail. The result is a rich and nuanced drinking experience where the earthy, smoky depth of Ayuuk enhances the zesty kick of Ginger Beer. This cocktail not only pays homage to a timeless favorite but is a great example of how an uncategorized spirit used in a classic can make it Empirical.
Origin of the Moscow Mule
The Moscow Mule was born in the 1940s in the United States, a product of collaboration between a vodka distributor and a ginger beer maker. Served in its iconic copper mug, this cocktail quickly became popular for its refreshing, spicy flavor and distinctive presentation. Over the years, the Moscow Mule has become a classic, celebrated for its simplicity and zesty profile, making it a perfect canvas for innovative reinterpretations like our Ayuuk Mule.
