Ayuuk Negroni – A Smoky, Bold Evolution of the Iconic Cocktail

CLASSIC WITH A TWIST

About the Ayuuk Negroni

The Ayuuk Negroni brings smoky, earthy depth to the iconic Negroni with Empirical Ayuuk and coffee-infused sweet vermouth. The bite of the Pasilla Mixe chili in Ayuuk balances perfectly with the bitterness of Campari and the richness of coffee, creating a bold, nuanced cocktail. Perfect for Negroni lovers seeking a modern twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Empirical Ayuuk
  • 1 oz Coffee-Infused Sweet Vermouth*
  • 1 oz Campari
  • 1 Dash Black Walnut Bitters
  • Orange Peel for garnish

*For the coffee-infused sweet vermouth, pour sweet vermouth through a filter with 123g of ground coffee.

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir until sufficiently diluted and chilled.
  3. Strain into a lowball glass over a large ice cube.
  4. Express the oils from an orange peel over the glass and use it as a garnish.

Why Use Empirical Ayuuk?

Empirical Ayuuk’s smoky, earthy notes derived from Pasilla Mixe chili bring a new dimension to the traditional Negroni. Its savory warmth balances the bitterness of Campari, while the coffee infusion adds depth and complexity to each sip.
